Last Friday our class was introduced to different web based tools and apps. One web based tool is NoteFlight.com. This is a pretty cool website that I had no idea that existed. Its like a Sibelius and Finale but for FREE! Its a great tool to use when you don't want to be stuck in the computer lab trying to get your homework done and you can do your assignments at your house or in any comfortable place you desire. I know I am definitely gonna try to use it, because since I'm a commuter and I don't have the luxury to use the computer lab on the weekends so I need to be able to do my compositions for class, and NoteFlight allows me to do this.
Also during class Professor Riley introduced us to web based games for music. And I saw some games that I am actually interested in trying for my students when I teach. You can check some out with my blog 5 Fun Music Games.
