This is my first blog for Middle School Methods Technology! In class Friday we learned all about the different types of blogs we could use for educational purposes and personal purposes. The one type of blog that really interested me was the Kidblogs. What I really liked about that was having the interactions between the students and the teacher all on the web, so it's class outside of class. This can be done with establishing discussion ideas and having the students write their response and work together outside of class. Also, students can post videos related to the class and also post some mp3s of their music that they might have created during their music technology class. What also is great about Kidblogs is that it is easy for the students to understand, with a simple login menu and easy access for the students to interact with each other. Also another great feature is that the teacher reviews everything the students post before its published on the page of the blog.
Overall I am pretty excited about this new blog. I am not very good at this, but I hope I get better with time. I'm also looking forward to next class!
